Google Calendars

Google Calendars is a very simple site, but it can be useful for anyone that is busy and wants to keep their schedules organized online. I like the fact that all you have to do is click on the date that the event is happening on, and it will give you choices to choose from to edit the time, what kind of event it is, and you can type in any extra information you might want to add for yourself.  There is even a task bar that can be added so it can be more detailed.  There are reminders that can be sent to your email, and there are pop-ups that will show up when you open up your igoogle page.  Some benefits of google calendars, is that the calendars are online, so you can just type the information in, and not have to write it all. Firefox Personas

The firefox personas are kinda interesting, because it allows you to customize the space up above the website.  Mine is a kstate customization, and it fits in the space well and I like having it there.  But, it only works on the computer that you uploaded it on, so you cannot use another laptop and have it there.

Google Products

The are a bunch of different products that google provides.  And, they are all for free!  Some products include books, news, select searches, translators, and web search features.  There are also some things that we did not cover in class like, images, videos, and groups.  The product I liked the most from google was the google maps.  This feature allows you to look at a satellite picture of anywhere in the world.  You can even click on this little yellow dude, and drag him to a street, and you can look around from a street view.  ->Google<- or try out ->Google Maps <-.
